About us

Medefix is a family business with husband and wife team of Mark and Sally Fields at the helm. Mark and Sally set up Medefix in 2011 and the business started with just one customer in the local area. The business grew quickly, just from satisfied customers recommending Medefix to other practices.

The business has continued to grow for several years. It still works closely with the local dental practices. But the team now also supports healthcare teams in over 80 prisons in England and Wales, delivering services for the key organisations in the sector. Mark and Sally work in the business daily, ensuring the high standards of customer service remains.

Founders

Before Medefix Mark Fields was in the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a medical and dental equipment manager and maintenance technician for over twenty years. He was trained by the leading manufacturers. Over the years he travelled far and wide to repair and maintain medical and dental equipment, set up field hospitals, and was part of Critical Care in Air Support Team (CCAST) bringing the critically ill and injured back to the UK. Sally’s background is marketing management, working in the public and private sector for 20 years. Sally now manages the office for Medefix, but maintains her interest in Marketing working as an Associate Lecturer for the University of Lincoln
